Security
Sealed by SlateSeal.
A signature should mean something. Not a typed name in a box. Not a click-wrap checkmark. A cryptographic act, bound to the document and the moment, that nobody — not even Slate — can later forge.
Every deal you sign here lives in your device's Secure Enclave. The private key never leaves it. The signature never leaves you.

Your signing key never leaves this device.
Hardware-bound. Your private signing key lives in your device's Secure Enclave. It cannot be copied, exported, or stolen remotely — not by malware, not by us.
Tamper-evident. Change one character of the contract and every signature on it breaks. The cryptographic chain catches edits the eye misses.
Cross-device. Read terms on your phone, confirm with Face ID, with the desktop as witness. Two devices, one signature, no plausible deniability.
No subscription. DocuSign charges $1–3 per envelope. Adobe Sign too. SlateSeal charges zero. Forever.

Answers
Common questions, direct answers.
Yes — one platform, one price. Whether you’re a distributor listing content or a broadcaster acquiring it, the subscription tiers and pricing are identical. Both sides access the same AI tools, deal rooms and rights intelligence.
No. Slate charges subscriptions only — not a percentage of your deals. Every deal you close through the platform is yours in full. You keep 100% of the value.
Ghost titles are pre-loaded content in our catalogue — full metadata (genre, cast, year, synopsis) but no rights holder on Slate yet. Buyers can browse and express interest. Rights holders receive automated outreach to claim and activate their content; once verified, any pending buyer interests surface immediately.
Your limit resets on the first of each month. You can still browse the full catalogue, manage your watchlist and respond to any open deal rooms. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited express interests.
When a buyer expresses interest in your title, the AI Pitch Generator drafts a personalised response using their platform type, territory, budget indication and the note they left. You review, edit if needed, and send — the pitch lands in their Slate deal room and email. Outreach Campaigns let you proactively pitch matched buyers who haven’t yet expressed interest.
180+ territories across LATAM, MENA, APAC, Europe, North America and CIS. Contract templates are jurisdiction-aware from launch. Rights intelligence covers territory-by-territory licensing data sourced from distributor press releases, trade publications and seller self-reporting.
About Slate
Built because the industry deserved better infrastructure.
We’re building what should have existed decades ago — a single platform where every studio, distributor and broadcaster can discover what rights exist, who holds them, find the right counterparty, and close deals in days rather than months.
01
Rights data should be transparent
Knowing who holds the IP to a title, in which territory, under what rights type — this should be instantly accessible, not locked in spreadsheets and legal offices.
02
AI should do the matching
A buyer’s platform preferences and acquisition history are signals. AI should use those signals to surface the right content — automatically, at scale, before anyone else sees the opportunity.
03
Outreach should be automated
Once the match is made, an AI agent should send the pitch — personalised, timely, on your behalf. You focus on the relationship; the agent handles first contact.
04
Deals should close in days
Structured deal rooms, auto-generated contracts and digital signatures mean a licensing agreement should take days, not months. That is the infrastructure Slate is building now.
Stop chasing rights. Start closing them.
Join the distributors, broadcasters and OTT platforms already using Slate to find, verify and close content rights.
